Students and 1st/2nd Year Doctors!
Want to attend the 2026 SOTO-USA Symposium and have your registration waived????
All you have to do is become a member of SOTO-USA and present a research abstract at the symposium, and the SOT Research fund will pay for your admission!
1. Don't know where to start? That's ok! The head of our research department will work with you from initial concept to paper creation. Dr. Charles Blum can be reached via email here for questions. To start the process, send him an email and introduce yourself! Papers can also be done as a group. DrCBlum@aol.com

2. Develop an idea for a research project. This can be done with friends or SOT club members, and more than one author can be on a paper. For some inspiration, here are some SOT related papers that have been published in the past few years.

3. Once you have your idea, work with Dr. Blum to help write it up. He can assist with citations and formatting and walk you through the process.

4. Register and come to the Symposium (registration fee waived), enjoy all the great speakers and present your paper at the conference! (Even if you have prepared a paper and your registration fee is waived, you're still required to register so we can get a proper head count).

5. Have your research published in a journal and become a published author!
